Finding Yourself In Transition - virtual book study

Saturdays 1pm

Beginning April 4th! Saturdays at 1pm When it feels like the end of the world as we know it, we’ve arrived at a point of magnificent opportunity: the possibility of transforming every dimension in our life. Every season has an ending, and then the void or the gap where it seems like nothing seems familiar, and then we come into a new beginning. How we move through this season is one of the most important choices we will make in your lifetime. Our culture has offered us little to help us cope with a pandemic like the virus now affecting all of humankind. Our lives are facing many new challenges. So, how do we move fear aside to explore the spiritual opportunities inherent of the life changes facing us. NTNC is offering an on-line class to assist us in using this time in our lives and the lives of all humankind, as a time for Spiritual Awakening. We will be using the book (available on Amazon), Finding Yourself in Transition by Robert Brumet.; a short book that is a gentle guide through transformation with wisdom, love and deep knowledge. Find the book online here at Amazon We affirm that we are one with God and with each other. Facilitated by Rev. Sharon, please join us on Zoom for five sessions on Saturdays at 1pm, beginning at April 4th, 2020 for this book study. Email us for zoom link at info.newthoughtnoco@gmail.com

It Isn't a New Thought; It is just the way the World Works!

Thursdays either 11:30am or 6:00pm

Starting April 2 we are starting a new discussion group based on Spiritual Principles. The first unit is on the principle of Balance. We have Unit 1 ready and it is free. Just register for one of the class sessions. There are 2 - 11:30am and 6pm presented online via Zoom on Thursdays. In this material you will find the following concepts: 1. What does greatness mean? Does greatness revolve principally around questions of power, wealth and success? Or is greatness founded in justice, freedom and truth? In short, is it a material greatness or a greatness of the soul? 2. In 1946 Albert Camus wrote a book: The Plague. It is pertinent today. What are the metaphysical lessons in the virus called Corona? 3. There are 10 root causes of illness and disease. If the causes of illness and disease are the same, they why are the treatments so different? In this list of causes you will see some have similarities and for the body to fall ill, the immune system needs to break down. What's the mind got to do with it? 4. Then we'll explore five questions for reflection for mind-body healing. 5. The spiritual principle of equilibrium, balance or harmony supersedes all other spiritual teachings, traditions and systems. How to gain spiritual equilibrium... And much more... Register for either of the class sessions and you will receive a 12 page booklet outlining these exciting and important concepts. Register at www.ntnoco.org and look under classes. Rev. Jim will respond and send a PDF document which is class reading. There will be a session login number in that document. There will be several churches participating. “The beautiful thing about learning is that nobody can take it away from you.”
